A Season of Growth and New Beginnings

As I write this article, I am staying in a house we rent from Hope Tree Church in Ceres. We remodeled two houses belonging to the church where staff and graduates reside. The graduates have jobs in the community and are building their finances with the goal of acquiring their own residence. Since Sharon went to heaven, I stay in one house with a staff member, so I don’t have to drive home as frequently to Galt. 

My traveling partner is Bronte; my 5-1/2 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I have space in my car, office and home for her. She always stayed with Sharon, now she stays with me. She is great company. Only downfall is she is quite a snorer. Sometimes it is very loud in my staff meetings, but I love her anyway. 

For several years, Ryan DeWing, has been our web designer and produced our newsletter and most of our graphics. He has been such a blessing and helped to establish our look and brand. 

With the remarkable growth of FHATC we have made some changes to accommodate our varied needs. Sally Gerbo Designs has worked with us with the Ball Drop for several years. She is based in Modesto and very readily available for some changes we are making. Our newsletter will be electronic, which saves money for us and is the way most ministries are sending newsletters these days. There will be adjustments to be made and we hope you will be patient with us. Also, there will be a new look to our website, highlighting all aspects of our growing ministry. 

It is hard to believe 2025 will be over soon. We are anticipating a historic 2026. You have made it possible with your prayers and support.
